The Allnic L-9000 OTL/OCL is a high-end line-stage preamplifier built around an Output Transformer-Less (OTL) and Output Capacitor-Less (OCL) architecture. By eliminating transformers and capacitors from the single-ended signal path, the design aims to preserve signal purity and minimise the coloration and dynamic limitations typically introduced by coupling components.
The preamplifier employs a triple-gain-stage circuit with dual SEPP 6080 output tubes and a true dual-mono layout, providing independent left and right channel operation for improved channel separation and reduced crosstalk. A floating power supply design is used to maintain stable operation while avoiding unwanted DC potential at the output.
Further refinements include Allnic’s renowned remote-controlled 61-step Constant Impedance Attenuator, soft-start circuitry, patented Absorb GEL tube damping technology, and exceptionally wide bandwidth performance. Together, these technologies are designed to maximise transparency, minimise noise, and preserve the finest musical details throughout the signal path.
