The Allnic L-8500 OTL/OCL is a high-performance line-stage vacuum tube preamplifier designed around Allnic’s Output Transformer-Less and Output Capacitor-Less architecture. By eliminating coupling transformers and capacitors from the signal path, the design is intended to preserve signal purity, reduce distortion, and maintain the dynamic integrity of the original recording.
The preamplifier employs a triple-stage gain structure, dual SEPP 12B4 output stages, and a true dual-mono configuration to maximise channel separation and minimise interfeence between channels. A floating power supply design further supports stable operation while preventing DC potential from appearing at the output.
Complementing the circuit design is Allnic’s remote-controlled 41-step Constant Impedance Attenuator, which maintains consistent impedance characteristics throughout the volume range for precise channel balance and signal preservation. The result is a highly transparent preamplifier engineered to reproduce fine detail, natural harmonics, and wide dynamic expression.
