The Grimm Audio MU2 is a high-performance all-in-one music streamer, DAC, and analog preamplifier designed to serve as the central hub of a premium hi-fi system. Building upon the platform developed for the MU1, it integrates streaming, digital-to-analog conversion, volume control, and source management into a single elegant component.
At the core of the MU2 is Grimm Audio’s proprietary FPGA-based Major DAC architecture, developed to maximize resolution and musical accuracy. The unit supports both digital and analog sources, allowing seamless integration with power amplifiers, active loudspeakers, headphones, and external source components.
With an onboard Roon Server, support for major streaming platforms, and extensive connectivity, the MU2 delivers a streamlined listening experience while reducing the need for additional system components.
