The PA1 is a high-performance monoblock power amplifier designed to combine the musical qualities traditionally associated with premium tube amplifiers and the authority, control, and reliability of modern solid-state designs. Engineered with a meticulously optimised Class AB topology, the PA1 focuses on minimising dynamic signal distortions that can negatively affect sound quality, resulting in exceptionally clean and natural audio reproduction.
Despite its relatively compact chassis, the PA1 delivers more than 200 watts into a 4-ohm load and is capable of driving demanding loudspeakers with confidence. A fully balanced signal path, absence of coupling capacitors, and extremely low crossover distortion contribute to a transparent and highly detailed listening experience with powerful bass performance, realistic midrange reproduction, and clean transient response.
The amplifier also incorporates comprehensive protection circuitry, automatic input voltage switching, selectable gain settings, and both balanced and unbalanced inputs, making it suitable for integration into a wide variety of high-end audio systems.
