Description

The DS-003 Optical Cartridge combines DS Audio’s advanced optical cartridge technology with a lightweight aluminum cantilever and rigid aluminum body construction. Independent LED and photo-detector arrangements for the left and right channels improve channel separation, increase output level, and reduce noise for greater musical clarity.

The cartridge also incorporates a significantly lighter beryllium shading plate, helping optimize tracking performance while maintaining the precision and transparency expected from DS Audio’s optical playback systems.
