The DS Audio Grand Master Optical Cartridge is a flagship optical phono cartridge engineered to deliver exceptional musical accuracy and low noise performance. Its independently configured LED and photo-detector systems for the left and right channels provide improved signal output and superior channel separation compared with previous generations.

The cartridge incorporates an advanced optical structure, a lightweight beryllium shading plate, and a diamond cantilever with a Micro Ridge stylus. These design elements contribute to enhanced tracking ability, improved rigidity, and highly detailed audio reproduction.
