The Grand Master EX Optical Cartridge is a flagship analogue cartridge featuring DS Audio’s photo-electric conversion technology. Unlike conventional cartridge designs, the optical system converts groove information through light-based detection for highly accurate signal reproduction.
At the heart of the cartridge is a unique one-piece diamond cantilever and stylus assembly carved from a single diamond, eliminating the adhesive joint commonly found between cantilever and stylus tip. This construction enables more direct transmission of groove information and contributes to the cartridge’s exceptional sonic precision.
