The Wand EQ Phono Stage was designed by Gary Morrison of PureAudio and specifically voiced to complement The Wand tonearm, turntable, cartridge and stylus combinations. Its design focuses on preserving the emotional impact of music while maintaining exceptional resolution and low noise performance.
Operating in pure Class A, the Wand EQ combines a low-noise dual J-FET input stage with carefully tuned circuitry to extract the maximum performance from vinyl playback systems. It is available either as a standalone phono stage or integrated as a module within The Wand 14-4 turntable.
The standalone version is housed in an acoustically inert plywood enclosure mounted on tripod feet for vibration isolation and finished by hand with Manuka beeswax polish.
