The AMG Viella Forte with 12JT tonearm combines AMG’s 48kg high-precision mass-drive turntable with its advanced 12-inch tonearm to create a substantial analogue playback system focused on mechanical stability, precision and vibration control. The Viella Forte uses a decoupled 24V Lorenz brushless DC motor with quartz-controlled round-belt drive, a 14kg three-piece composite platter and a high-precision, partially hydrodynamic bearing system. Its aerospace-grade high-density aluminium chassis and extensive damping construction are engineered to provide exceptional stability and controlled playback at 33.33, 45 and 78 RPM.
The included AMG 12JT represents an advanced development of AMG’s 12-inch tonearm platform, with optimised effective mass, precision bearing architecture and integrated adjustment systems for accurate cartridge setup. High-precision controls provide adjustment of anti-skating and VTA, while custom internal wiring with gold-plated connections is specifically twisted to minimise magnetic resonances and signal discontinuities. Each tonearm is individually hand assembled, precisely measured and comprehensively tested.
