The Moonriver Model 404 Optional USB DAC Module is a premium digital audio upgrade designed to significantly enhance the amplifier’s versatility and digital playback performance. Based on the ESS Sabre 9000 Series DAC platform, the module supports high-resolution PCM and native DSD playback while utilising a custom XMOS-based USB implementation.
Dedicated low-noise power supplies, discrete low-drift clocking and carefully tuned analogue output circuitry ensure detailed, natural and dynamic music reproduction that complements the Moonriver sound philosophy.
